St. Patrick’s High is gearing up for one-act play districts on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

The one-act play is a production contest and is part of the Nebraska School Activities Association.

The students have rehearsed the 30-minute play “The Perfect Ending,” directed by their teacher, Alissa Blake, and recently competed in South Platte Valley Association Conference.

Two of the students, Samuel Dekleva and Isa Caudillo, were both honored as part of the all-conference cast. Prior to heading to districts, the one-act performeda show for the community, family and friends at St. Pat’s High School at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27.

The District D1-5 competition will be held at Southwest High School-Berkley on Dec. 4. Eight schools will compete — Anselmo-Merna, Callaway, Brady, Wallace, Eustis-Farnam, Elwood, Southwest and St. Pat’s.

The play is judged in the categories of acting, staging, set and light design.
