Addilyn Wilson, Miss Midwest Teen USA, a senior at Hershey High School, hosted her fifth consecutive daddy-daughter dance on Saturday, Jan. 7.

More than 250 people attended the annual dinner and dance at Venue 304 in North Platte.

Proceeds provides scholarships for the Hershey TeamMates Mentoring Program and helps with funds so Addilyn can compete for the title of Miss Teen Nebraska USA in February.

She has donated more than $7,000 to TeamMates in the past four years. This year, she had planned to donate another $2,500, but a corroborating contribution from First National Bank added more, pushing the overall total all the way to $10,000, Addilyn said.

The donation will be given to the Hershey TeamMates chapter on Friday, Jan. 27 during the girls home basketball game, sometime between 6:30-7 p.m.

Addilyn’s brother, Tayten, a music student in Nashville, Tenn., was the deejay for the daddy-daughter dance. Photographs and flowers were also available for purchase.
