Kendra Lutz, 52, of Sutherland passed away at Great Plains Health in North Platte on Oct. 11, 2021 following some recent health complications.

Kendra was born Nov. 26, 1968 in Cozad where she grew up and graduated from high school. She, along with her parents, Richard ‘Pooch’ and Marian Pollat, then moved to Paxton. Kendra worked at the Ogallala truck stop, NPPD, Sutherland Care Center, and eventually for Ozzie’s. On Sept. 29, 2007, Kendra married John Lutz and they made their home in Sutherland.

Kendra liked to go gambling, do craft projects, was outgoing and had a great personality.

Kendra is survived by her husband, John Lutz of Sutherland; mother, Marian Pollat of Paxton; sister, Deb White, and brother, Joe (Donna) Pollat, both of Cozad; half siblings, Kenny Wilson, Sheila, Michelle, and Christina; special little boys, Skyler Shipman and Joshua ‘Smurf’ Harper of Sutherland; as well as other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Pollat; brother, Mike Wilson; and brother-in-law, Bill White.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 at Odean Colonial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements. Pastor Mark Baldwin will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday at Odean Colonial Chapel, then cremation will follow.
