Homestead Pumpkin Patch (6459 S. Homestead Rd) – Open through Nov. 1 on Fridays-Sundays from 2-8 p.m. General admission $9. Ages 2 & under no charge.

Dusty’s Pumpkin Fest (2617 N. Buffalo Bill Ave.) – Open Sat-Sun from noon-6 p.m. through the Nov. 1. $12 admission.

Harvest Park (1501 S. Dewey) – North Platte Critter Swap, 10-3 p.m.

Fox Theater (301 E. 5th) Movie night. Sonic the Hedgehog. $5, kids 12 and under, $3. Showtimes: 3 & 7 p.m.

Miller Community Hall (322 W. Omaha Ave.) – Dance to live music by Lead Me Home. $5 for adults & children through graduation age. 7-10 a.m.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 21

Godfathers Pizza (1100 S. Jeffers St) – Big Idea North Platte. Live grand finale, 6 p.m. Contestants show a video describing their business idea, competing for prizes.

 

Thursday, Oct. 22

Platte River Mall (1000 S. Dewey) — Your choice of a hamburger or hot dog, pork and beans, chips and a sparkling drink. $10. 4:30-7 p.m. A corresponding meal will be delivered to the homeless shelter that night.

 

Saturday, Oct. 24

Platte River Mall parking lot (1000 S. Dewey) – Farmers market 8-2 p.m.

Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5015 Rodeo Rd) – A New View Antique and Craft Show.​ 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Prairie Arts Center (416 N Jeffers) – Beer & Bites. Full pairing & tasting event. Cuisines from the Cedar Room, ice creams from Double Dips, paired with beers and ciders from Froth Home-Brew Club, live music. $35 per ticket. 4-7 p.m.

Sutherland Rodeo Arena (905 South St.) – Ranch Rodeo with cowboy auction. Four-man team competition for trailer loading, doctoring and tie-down. 3 p.m.

Fox Theater (301 E. 5th) – Movie night. It: Chapter 2. $5, kids 12 and under, $3. Showtimes: 3 & 7 p.m.
