The city of North Platte had issues with their new telephone system, but the problems were solved and the phones began working again on Wednesday morning.
Public Transit Manager Renee White said Tuesday afternoon that the phones were out of order for the day, and expressed gratitude for the patience of residents.
Emails and in-person visits continued to work fine during the phone trouble, White said.
