North Platte finished second Thursday at the Hastings Invitational.

The Bulldogs had a score of 309 to finish as the runner-up behind Norfolk, who won the meet at 296. Kearney was third in the 10-team invite with a score of 321.

Cade McCollum of Grand Island won the event individually with a score of 66. Norfolk had the second, third and fourth place finishers to lead the winning effort for the Panthers.

At fifth place was North Platte’s Kyle Zimbelman with a 74. NPHS had two more medalists with Jayden Jones finishing seventh with a 76 and Chesney Tatman getting ninth with a 77.

Kade Wroot and Seth Negley also competed for the Dawgs. Wroot had a score of 82 and Negley had 83.
