Eight North Platte Special Olympians competed in the West Central Region Swim Meet on March 23in Hastings. 

The results from their various divisions:

Level A. 15M walk: 

  First place: Crystal Davis.

  Second place:  Phillip Hodges.

4×25 M Freestyle Relay: 

  Second place:  Stevie Young, Diane Carter, Zach Parish, Autumn Weinman.

  Second place: Melissa Crick (Lexington), Damon Willets (Lexington), Pam Kackmeister, Jennifer Hendricks (Lexington).

25M Backstroke: 

  First place:  Diane Carter.

  Third place: Pam Kackmeister.

50M Freestyle:

  First Place: Stevie Young.

  Fourth Place:  Zach Parish.

25M Breaststroke:

  Second place: Zach Parish.

  Third place:  Tyler Rossell.

25M Freestyle:

  First Place:  Autumn Weinman.

  Second Place: Stevie Young.

  Third Place:  Tyler Rossell.

  Fourth Place:  Diane Carter.

Those who placed in the top three are eligible to compete at state level.
