The North Platte Water Department will chlorinate drinking water for four days for preventative maintenance.
The target area is the north side of town, in and around the new water main installation on West Ninth St. The chlorination begins on Tuesday July 2 and runs through Friday July 5, said Water Protection Specialist Derek Thompson.
Those with chlorine sensitivities or have animals with sensitivities to chlorine should take the proper precautions.
