Just like in their first matchup against Columbus on April 6, the North Platte Lady Bulldogs needed only one goal to beat the Discoverers on Tuesday at Bauer Field.
“It was a hard-fought game. It was a battle to the end.” NPHS coach Sarah Kaminski said. “The girls knew that was what it was going to look like. They came in and persevered. They kept giving themselves chances. We had a lot of shots on goal. In any given day, some of those hit the back of the net and it’s a completely different game. I’m proud of them and one thing that’s very characteristic of them is they don’t stop until the whistle blows.”
