The University of Nebraska at Lincoln’s hosted a farm management competition in 2017 called Testing Ag Performance Solutions .

The results showed range of profit that varied by $300 per acre per farm. The main contributing factor to the amount of profit or loss was their marketing plan and, to a lesser extent, their cost of production, organizers say.

The revenue generated per bushel of corn ranged from $3.03-3.59 and the cost of production ranged from $2.82-3.80 per bushel.

The UNL-TAPS farm management competition has postponed a crop marketing seminar at the West Central Research and Extension Center at 402 W. State Farm Road in North Platte.

The seminar was set for Feb. 20.
