The U.S. Department of Agriculture and UNL Extension are holding a Women in Ag meeting on Wednesday, March 20 in North Platte

The meeting will be from 10 a.m.- 3:15 p.m. at the UNL West Central Research and Extension Center on State Farm Road.

This event is free and open to the public.

In addition to learning more about USDA farm programs, the speakers and topics will include:

• “AgrAbility: How Could it Benefit Someone You May Know” by Nancy Frecks, Nebraska Extension Educator.

• “Establishing Equitable Pasture Rents” by Skip Marland

• “What Makes an Operation More Profitable” and “Effect of New Tax Laws” by Tina Barret.

• “Self-Care: Navigating the Ups and Downs of Life” by Kris Steinbeck.

Lunch will be provided.
