In three separate arrests on Friday-Sunday, North Platte police charged two suspects with meth possession as well as a third with a sexual assault that took place in a store.

On Sunday, June 29, an officer went to a North Platte home in the 2200 block of W. Fourth to check out a report of a stolen vehicle.
According to a police report, upon arrival, the officer saw drug paraphernalia inside the home, leading to a search, which turned up meth, meth paraphernalia and Alprazolam, a potent tranquilizer of moderate duration.
Police arrested Zoe Brown, 23, and charged her with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, as well as illegal possession of prescription pills. Bond was set at $15,000. She paid the required 10% on July 1 and was released. She is scheduled to return to court on July 10.
Quinton Wright
On Friday, June 27, police went to 1401 S. Dewey to check out a report of a sexual assault.
They were told that Quinton Wright, 59, approached a minor child from behind and placed a banana between the child’s legs in a North Platte store. The officer reviewed store security surveillance video, which confirmed the child’s report.
Wright was charged with third-degree sexual assault of a child, a felony that is punishable by up to three years imprisonment, if convicted. He was taken to the Lincoln County jail.
Bond was set at $75,000.
Sara Henderson

Police arrested Sara Henderson of North Platte on Friday, June 27 after an officer saw her in a motor vehicle and pulled it over.
Henderson, 40, has been wanted since since June 23 for meth possession, charges that date back to April, when police found about 2.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine in her vehicle, according to court records.
Henderson was taken to jail on Friday and charged with meth possession. Bond was set at $15,000. She paid the required 10% Monday and was released, with instructions to return on July 30 for a court hearing.
