The Wallace Wildcats have earned a state playoff football game.

With a record of 7-1, Wallace is the No. 6 seed in the six-man playoffs and they will host 11-seed Hay Springs (5-3) in the first round on Friday.

Wallace has won their last seven games since losing to Potter-Dix in the season-opener on Aug. 27. The Coyotes are undefeated and are the top seed heading into the playoffs.

The Wildcats finished the regular season with a 78-42 win at Southwest (1-7) on Oct. 22.

Should Wallace defeat Hay Springs, they will likely play at third-seed Red Cloud (8-0) on Nov. 5.
