The Wallace volleyball team went 3-0 to win the Loomis Tournament on Saturday.
The Lady Wildcats (8-2) defeated Maxwell, Hampton and Silver Lake to take first place.
Wallace opened with a dominating 25-15, 25-7 win over Hampton in the first round.
Kendyl Flaming had seven kills to the lead the Wildcats. Kaley Sauser had 13 set assists and Mariana Aceves-Lopez had nine digs.
Wallace then defeated Maxwell in the semifinals by a 25-19 score in both sets.
The Wildcats also swept Silver Lake — 25-11, 27-25, to claim the championship.
Wallace was led by Flaming and Brooke Bryant with seven kills each. Sauser had 17. Aceves-Lopez had 13 digs and Devin Giesselmann followed with 12.
Maxwell

Maxwell finished third in the tournament to bump their record to 4-5. In the third place match, the Wildcats edged Loomis in three sets — 25-19, 11-25, 26-24.
Before falling to Wallace in the semifinals, Maxwell swept Bertrand by a score of 25-22 in both sets.
Both Lincoln County schools will be in action on Tuesday. Wallace will play a triangular against Mullen (2-6) and Sutherland (2-6) in Mullen.
Maxwell will host 9-0 Overton.
