The Wallace volleyball team lost in four sets at home to South Platte on Thursday.

The score was 26-28, 25-20, 25-14, 25-15.

“South Platte is a balanced team and they serve well,” Wallace coach Elizabeth Hock said. “We had impressive moments in the first two sets, but let them have too many big runs in sets 3 and 4.”

Wallace (2-1) was led by Skyler Kuhlman with 11 kills.

Karlie Finley had 12 set assists for the Wildcats and Morgan Lungrin had eight.

Denay Pelster led Wallace with 22 digs.

Next, Wallace will host a triangular with Perkins County and Hitchcock County on Tuesday.
