North Platte St. Pat’s buried Sutherland with one run after another Tuesday in their 25-18, 25-16, 25-15 victory at the McGahan Activities Center.
“We did some good things but we weren’t very consistent,” St. Pat’s coach Shelly Byrn said. “We’d get a big lead and we’d let them back in it. I think there was a lot of distractions tonight. It was Senior night and their last game on their home court. It’s tough when there’s distractions like that. We came out and got the win but we’ve got a lot of work to do before going to (the tournament in) Southern Valley on Saturday.”
