State troopers arrested three teenagers and seized about $400,000 worth of methamphetamine during a traffic stop Friday evening on I-80 near Omaha.

At approximately 7:15 p.m. Friday, a trooper saw an eastbound 2006 Mercedes SUV following too closely near mile marker 436. During the stop, an NSP canine detected the odor of a controlled substance from the vehicle, NSP spokesman Cody Thomas said.

A search revealed 46.5 pounds of meth hidden under the floorboards, along with a small amount of marijuana.

The driver, Erminia Everett, 19, and passengers, Marcos Lee, 18, and Evan Adamson, 19, all of Minnesota, were charged with possession with intent to deliver and no drug tax stamp. All three were taken to the Sarpy County jail, Thomas said.
