Michael Salinas, Eli Smith, Ethan Elliott and Kale DaMoude won events for Hershey on Thursday at the Ord Invitational.
Salinas won the shot put with a throw of 50’2 1/2″. He defeated Jed Boettcher of Ord by three inches.
Smith won the long jump with a leap of 20’11 1/2″. He defeated Walker Robertson of Boone Central by five and a half inches.
Elliott won the 800 meters with a time of 2:04.03, defeating Austin Wood of Central City by four tenths of a second.
DaMoude won the 300 meter hurdles at 42.74 seconds. He defeated Levi Klein of Ord by three tenths of a second.
Hershey finished sixth with 57 points. Grand Island Central Catholic was first with 98 1/4 and Ord was three points behind for second place.
The Hershey girls also finished sixth. The Lady Panthers scored 61 points. Ord was first with 101 and St. Paul was second with 91.
Addison Frederick finished second to Hope Paup of Central City in the shot put and discus. Frederick’s distance in the shot put was 38’2 1/2″, three inches short of Paup. In the discus, Frederick had 123’06”, five inches short of Paup.
Avalon Quick also finished second in the pole vault at 8’8″. Lily Alberts of GI Central Catholic won at 9’2″.
