The man who was burned to death in a tragic fire in a Sutherland campground on Sept. 29 was likely John Coyle, 63, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday, a week after the fire occurred.

The sheriff’s office initially withheld the name pending an autopsy that was expected to provide positive identification, but the autopsy still has not conclusively identified Coyle, a sheriff’s spokesman said. Coyle owned the camper and lived in it.
