Streets, schedule for St. Pat’s Day parade downtown

Dewey St. will close today (Friday) at 3 p.m. between Fourth and Sixth streets for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The parade is slated to begin at 5 p.m.

The entire parade route — from Second to Sixth on Dewey and returning on Bailey — will close at 4:30 p.m. for the line-up to begin. During this time, the downtown businesses will still be accessible via side streets and parking lots, the downtown association said.

The streets will reopen immediately following the parade.
