St. Pat’s boys to host district final

The North Platte St. Pat’s boys’ basketball team will host Red Cloud in the D1-4 district final at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 2 at the McGahan Activities Center.

The winner will receive a berth to Nebraska State Tournament.

St. Pat’s (15-10) is the host team due to being ranked No. 4 in Class D1 for the NSAA power point rankings.

Red Cloud has a record of 17-5. The Warriors don’t have any common opponents with the Irish this season. They played in the Greg Miller Holiday Tournament in Hershey on Dec. 29-30 but did not play the hosting Panthers.
