New security and safety measures will be in place at Friday’s spring commencement at the University of Nebraska in Kearney.

All guests are asked to arrive early and travel light, as they may be subject to search upon entry. The ceremony will be held at the Health and Sports Center. Doors open at 8 a.m. and commencement starts at 10 a.m., UNK officials said.
