Incumbent Crystal Schliep has officially filed for the office of Clerk of the District Court of Lincoln County.

Schliep is the current Clerk of the District Court. Her experience and tenure in the office previously led to her appointment by the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners on Dec. 31, 2024, after Deb McCarthy retired.

She said the appointment reflects confidence in her professionalism and ability to serve the public. She was the deputy clerk for McCarthy for seven years.

Schliep said she is committed to maintaining accurate and reliable court records, supporting the work of judges and attorneys, and ensuring the office remains accessible, professional, and responsive to the needs of the citizens of Lincoln County.
