Red Cross training set in North Platte

The American Red Cross is hosting the Everyday Heroes Bootcamp disaster response training for volunteers on Saturday, March 25 in North Platte.

The training will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Red Cross Building, 1111 S. Cottonwood in North Platte.

When training is complete, each volunteer will become a member of the disaster action team, the Red Cross said. The action team is the first line of support after a disaster, providing relief supplies, help with temporary lodging and meeting other needs.
