John Hernandez, 35, of North Platte was arrested Sept. 18 and charged with fentanyl possession.

Hernandez became a suspect on Aug. 11, when police seized a substance that they suspected was fentanyl and sent it to a laboratory to be tested, police spokesman Rory Little said. The test was positive.
