Phyllis Eileen Zeigler, 77, of North Platte died June 18, 2022 at Centennial Park Retirement Village.

She was born on Aug. 16, 1944 in Sutherland to Robert and Elmina (Anderson) Kuehl.

Phyllis attended school at Big Springs, and then moved with her family to Hershey, where she graduated from Hershey High School in 1963.

On Aug. 9, 1973, she married Gordon Zeigler. Phyllis worked at the Greyhound/Trailways Bus Station for over 30 years, being manager for over 20.

She enjoyed her gardens, flowers, and house plants. Phyllis spent much time on sewing, and making quilts and rugs. One of her joys was following her grandchildren’s activities, and cooking for her family, especially her homemade noodles.

Survivors include her four children, Christy (Randy) Cauffman, Dixie (Russ) Dahlgren, David Zeigler, and Lee Zeigler, all of North Platte; grandchildren, Erin (Aaron Kelley) Zeigler, Joshua Cauffman, Daryl Cauffman, Makenzie Dahlgren, and Andrew Cauffman, all of North Platte and Megan Dahlgren of Scottsdale, Ariz.; great grandsons, Cooper Kelley, and Cameron Cauffman; sister, Marilyn Wilcox of North Platte; and several other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon; sister, Alberta Spencer; and brother, Ervin.

Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 22 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements. Rev. Ryan Alexander will officiate. Burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell.
