Paving will begin Monday on W. Ninth from Sherman Ave. to the west side of Carr Ave., as major improvements of a primary street on the north side of the city continues.
The water main was replaced last year in phase one of the project.
West Ninth will be closed to all traffic starting Monday until the installation is complete. Motorists will need to take alternate routes will be needed during construction.
The completion date is not predicted. Paulsen, Inc. is the contractor.
Use caution around the construction area and observe and follow all signs. The city engineering department appreciates cooperation in making this a safe and expedient project.
