Jessica Vogt is the new executive director of Families 1st Partnership in North Platte, succeeding Caroline Sabin, who led the organization for seven years.
Families 1st Partnership, a collaborative initiative to strengthen families and prevent involvement of child welfare services.
A North Platte native, Vogt holds a bachelor’s degree from Doane University, brings over a decade of experience in child and youth care, and currently serves as a coach with Rooted in Relationships.
The organization extends appreciation to Sabin for her years of service, leadership, and commitment. Sabin will served as a collaborative coach, meeting the urgent needs of families and strengthening the relationships she established through the years.

Families 1st Partnership receives grant funding from Nebraska Children and Families Foundation., the NE
Child Abuse Prevention Fund Board, DHHS, and private donors. Families 1st became a 501c3 non-profit in
November 2018. Its financial assistance since then to residents has resulted in $774,456 paid to local landlords, utility companies, childcares, mechanics, and other businesses.
Another $52,358 has been used to support Trainings and Collaborative Outreach in promoting services of local organizations. There has been $363,567 for contracts that provide direct and indirect services to local families and at-risk youth.
