The North Platte Pickleball Club will be hosting the inaugural NebraskaLand Days Cowboy Pickleball Tournament June 24-26.

The event will be the debut of the renovated courts at Memorial Park. The renovations include additional space, an improved surface and permanent nets.

The festivities will kick off on June 24 with a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. After that, a celebrity sudden death tournament will be played followed by the women’s doubles tournament.

On June 25, will be men’s singles and men’s doubles which will begin at 9 a.m.

The tournament will conclude on June 26 with the mixed doubles tournament.

There will be four divisions based on experience for those from age 16-55. There will also be a division for those 55 and older.

Registration for the tournament opened May 1. The cost of registration is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. The cost for mixed doubles is $10 per additional person if they’re not playing in the men’s or women’s tournaments.
