Beauty queens, horses, cowboys, dancers and businesses paraded through the streets of North Platte Saturday at the annual Nebraskaland Days parade, which was held under sunny skies.

The North Platte Fire Department served as the color guard, carrying the flags to lead the parade, followed by Police Chief Steve Reeves and members of the Nebraska State Patrol. Buffalo Bill Cody himself was right behind, followed by grand marshals Scott and Cyndee Orr, riding in a horse-drawn wagon from the Meyer Ranch near Maxwell.
