Five bands will play over two nights at Music on the Bricks 11, Friday-Saturday, May 16-17 in downtown North Platte.

Kid’s games, food and brews, merchandise, congeniality and other good things are part of the festivities.

On opening night, the beloved James Burke Trio will open the weekend at 7 p.m., playing the trio’s infectious brand of blues.

North Platte’s talented, all-original rock band, Soulstatic, will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. and play until around 10:30 p.m.

On Saturday night Jim Calhoun, Strings Attached, and the Drew Phillips Band will perform, starting at 6 p.m. Calhoun brings his Nebraska Hall of Fame show of classic country and rock to the stage first, followed by the powerful duo Strings Attached of McCook at 7 p.m. The Drew Phillips Band, a Nebraska favorite, will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. and play until around midnight.
