Linda S. Fisher passed away on Jan. 31, 2025 in Port Charlotte, Fla. at the age of 65.

Born on June 23, 1959, the daughter of Leon and Charlene Sullivan with three siblings Jim, Kathy and Kevin. Linda attended North Platte St. Patrick School. She married her husband Al on July 7, 1976. They had three children: Travis, Andrea and Shane.

She worked at the Lincoln County Court House in the assessor’s office. Linda later worked at Centennial Park Nursing Home as the pay roll manager. She loved helping, visiting and laughing with the tenants.

Upon retirement she and Al moved to Punta Gorda, Fla. where she didn’t have to deal with the cold. Linda enjoyed the beach, restaurants, shops and the sun.

Her grandchildren were close by and she loved their company and laughter. She loved her family and always put herself last and never complained.

Linda is survived by her husband, Al; son, Shane; daughter, Andrea (Josh) Weitzel; grandchildren, Kaden (Hannah) Weitzel, Aspen Weitzel and Barrett Weitzel; great grandson, Lincoln Weitzel; father, Leon Sullivan; sister, Kathy (Bryan) Bowman; brother, Kevin Sullivan; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlene Sullivan; son, Travis Fisher; and brother, Jim Sullivan.

Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 21 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Kem Reeder officiating. Inurnment will be at the North Platte City Cemetery. A memorial book signing will be from 1-7 p.m. on March 20 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with the family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m.

Carpenter Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
