Sen. Mike Jacobson will be the guest speaker on Monday, Sept. 16 when the Lincoln County Republican Party hosts its monthly meeting at the North Platte Eagles Club.
The meeting will be held from 6-9 p.m. The Eagles Club is at 620 N. Chestnut St. in North Platte.
A business meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Jacob’s presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. He will talk about current legislative topics.
Jacobson was elected in January 2022. He serves on the following committees: Banking, Commerce and Insurance; Natural Resources; Committee on Committees; Reference, Executive Board; Legislative Performance Audit; Statewide Tourism; Recreational Water Access and Resource Sustainability;
(LB 406), and the Legislative Oversight Review Special Committee.
“Sen. Jacobson ensures that our voices in rural Nebraska are heard and represented,” County GOP chairwoman Tammy Dugger said.
