Meeting Minutes – Tuesday, June 3, 2025
The Village Board of Wellfleet met at the Community Hall on Tuesday June 3, 2025, beginning at 8:00 p.m. Chairperson Hasenauer called the meeting to order. Roll call showed present: Hasenauer, Lewis, Prochaska, and Clark. Schroeder was absent.
Lewis presented the Treasurer’s Report. The report showed $60,727.08 in the Checking account and $16,076.07 in the CD. Hasenauer moved to accept the Treasurer’s Report as read. Prochaska seconded; Roll call showed Hasenauer-yes, Lewis-yes, Clark-yes, Prochaska-yes; the Motion carried.
Lewis presented the bills to be paid. Chairman Hasenauer – $75.00, Clerk: Schroeder- $75.00, Treasurer: Lewis – $75.00, Board member: Prochaska-$60.00, Board member: Clark – $60.00, Johnny on the Spot – $120.00 for park toilets, McCook Public Power – $137.70 for street lights, McCook Public Power for garage lights, Camas Publishing for publishing the minutes, Great Plains Tire – $52.80 for fuel, Ruth Hasenauer – $60 for hall cleaning, and Jeff Clark – $400 for mowing. Prochaska moved to pay the bills excluding Hasenauer and Clark. Clark seconded. Roll call showed Hasenauer – yes, Lewis-yes, Clark-yes, Prochaska-yes; the Motion carried. Lewis made a motion to pay Hasenauer, Prochaska seconded; Hasenauer abstained. Roll call showed Lewis-yes, Clark-yes, Prochaska-yes; the Motion carried. Prochaska moved to pay Clark; Lewis seconded. Clark abstained. Roll call showed Hasenauer-yes, Lewis-yes, Prochaska-yes; the Motion carried.
A sheriff’s report was presented showing 4 calls for service, 0 total traffic, 0 total village code violations, 14.5 village hours and 146.5 hours year-to-date.
