The city administrator reminds careless campaigners that signs must be behind the sidewalks to be off the city, county, or state road right-of-ways, as required by law.
City building inspection personnel will remove political signs that are on the right-of-way near the road, the office said Thursday.

Let’s hope this happens. A little too late but better than never. The violators aren’t giving it a thought about the city’s time and labor expense in removing or relocating the signs. All the candidates received the city ordinance when they signed up. So much for the ‘conservative’ talk from some of them!!!!
