The 6th annual Junktoberfest, a vintage and artisan market, will take over the Red Willow County Fairgrounds on Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 21-22.
The fairgrounds is at West 5th & O in McCook.
Junktoberfest has a lineup of over 65 vendors of junk, collectibles, gifts, memorabilia, antiques, primitives, handmade or repurposed furniture and loads of home décor. Multiple food vendors will be on hand for food, drinks and special treats.
Junktoberfest was taken over by Jen King, a junk-hunting, festival lover from Omaha who used to be a travelling vendor.
King believes in providing guests and vendors with the best festival experience possible and works diligently to provide great customer service for all. She places a lot of emphasis in securing a wide variety of vendors with quality products.
Admission to Junktoberfest is a one-time fee of $3 for the weekend. Children under age 12 are admitted free.
Parking at the Fairgrounds is also free. Tickets may be purchased at the event or in advance at www.junktoberfest.net.
