Iron Horse Lake rec trail closes for renovation

The Iron Horse Park recreation trail at the Interstate Lake southeast of Exit 177 is closed for the replacement of the aging asphalt trail.

The trail and the trail head parking lot are closed during this project and will remain closed until construction is complete. The contractor is TL Sund of Lexington. The completion date is unknown.

Please use caution around the construction area and observe and follow all signs for everyone’s safety.

The city parks department thanks you in advance for cooperation in making it a safe and expedient project.
