Thank you to all who attended North Platte Arbor Day Celebration on May 10 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. It was an honor to plant trees for Jim Parish and Chuck Scripter for all their hard work in our community.

Thank you to the people who spoke in honor of them and to those in attendance.

Also thank you to the Lincoln County Fairgrounds, the city of North Platte, and the North Platte Tree Board for all their work in making this event happen. Thank you to our guest speaker Dr. Charles Boettcher who reminded us about the importance of trees and George Cheek for his prayer reminding us of the blessings of trees.

A special thanks to the Boy Scouts, past and present, for the flag presentation and being planting assistants.
