My apology to the readers of the North Platte Bulletin for the misinformation I allowed to be public in my last letter. I was rightly chastised and rebutted by “WU.”
You are correct that the proposed legislation will reduce the amount of scholarships for nurses, pharmacists, veterinarians and other professional careers.
Properly chastened, I will nevertheless underscore that such reductions will have adverse effects on these professions and people.
I will, in future, be better informed as I hope all of us will be.
