The 2024 Carousel of Homes Tour and Boutique enabled our largest gift ever given of $12,400 to the North Platte Community Playhouse.
Since 1969, the Playhouse Guild has raised almost $365,000 to benefit the Community Playhouse.
The Playhouse Guild board has so many people and businesses to thank.
First, many thanks to our homeowners; Ashlee & Josh Beckmann, Jane & Daren Wilkinson, Rachelle & Mitch Huebner, and Jennifer & Adolfo Prieto. The hours spent decorating, organizing, and making each house a special memory for every ticket holder (all 550 plus of them) to enjoy.
In addition to our homes, special thanks to the Prairie Arts Center and the Golden Spike, which were also on our tour. It was a great way to kick off the Christmas season.
We thank Sarah at the Flower Market, and Penny & Randy at the Garden Glove for their extra touches and creative ideas in each home.
Thank you to Westfield Floral & Gifts, The Flower Market, Prairie Friends & Flowers, The Quilt Rack, The Prairie Arts Center, The Golden Spike, and The North Platte Playhouse for helping sell tickets.
Thank you to the North Platte Telegraph, the North Platte Bulletin, and KNOP-TV for publicizing our event. Thank you to those businesses who displayed posters and signs, including the electronic message board at Nebraskaland Bank, to get the word out about the Carousel of Homes Tour.
Thank you for coming and making the Boutique and Bake Sale another successful part of the tour. Thanks to our fantastic piano player Alice Nekuda that entertained the boutique/bake sale crowd in the Canteen Room.
Thank you to all our community and guild members who provided delicious baked goods for our sale. Thank you to our 40 smiling volunteers in the homes for directing traffic, checking tickets, and helping in any way during the Carousel of Homes Tour visits in the afternoon and evening.
And most of all, we thank the residents of our community for their continued support of the Carousel of Homes Tour.
We will always be sincerely grateful to everyone that gets involved.
