Lake McConaughy is now at 56.9% of capacity (elevation 3235.6 ft.)

Current inflows are about 750 feet per second and outflows are at zero, with no water being let through Kingsley Hydroplant due to a maintenance project that started last week.

Outflows will remain at zero until the project is completed, which is expected to be around Oct. 26, Civil Engineer Tyler Thulin told the Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District Board of Directors Monday.

And, at Johnson Lake, water levels will drop six feet below normal beginning Oct. 26 to accommodate a planned outage at the Johnson No. 2 hydroplant.

Normal elevations at Johnson Lake will return the second or third week in November, Thulin said.
