Janelle Higgins is no longer the head softball coach at North Platte Community College, school officials announced Monday.

The change comes just three games into the season. NPCC lost all three games by lop-sided scores at a tournament in Kansas hosted by Cowley County Community College. The Knights scored just two runs in the games. The disappointing start follows five straight losing seasons for the Knights.
