The North Platte High girls’ golf team finished first at the Grand Island Invitational on Friday.

The Lady Bulldogs had a score of 316. Lincoln Pius X had 327 and Lincoln Southwest had 330.

NPHS was led by Baylee Steele and Karsen Morrison, who each had 74. They were two of four golfers to have that score and Steele finished second in the playoff between those four golfers for third place overall.

The meet was won by Nicole Kolbas of Pius, who had 68. Kaitlyn Dumler of Lincoln East got second after winning the four-way playoff of the golfers who had 74.

Morrison got fifth place and she was followed by teammates Maya Lashley, who got sixth with a 75.

The other two Bulldog golfers, Abbie Jones and Kaylee Carlson, each shot 93.
