With all five golfers placing in the top 10, the North Platte High School boys’ golf team dominated at districts on Monday at the Lake Maloney Golf Course.

The Bulldogs had a score of 308, besting runner-up Cozad by 30 shots.

They were led by Finn Lucas, who got first place with a 76. He defeated Cozad’s Adam Cole and teammate Drew Phillips in a playoff to win the championship. Cole got second and Phillips was third.

Behind Lucas and Phillips, Jayden Jones was fifth with a 78. Tanner Ruda also got a 78. He finished seventh after coming up on the short end of a playoff between Jones and Brady Esch of McCook.

Kasch Morrison finished tied for 10th with an 82.

NPHS will compete in the Class B state tournament on May 21 and 22 in Columbus.
