Joel Foster was sentenced Thursday to 20-35 years in the Nebraska penitentiary for first-degree sexual assault of a child.
Foster, 39, was an employee of South Platte High School when he abuse a minor student, the Nebraska Attorney General’s office said. Foster reportedly confessed and plead guilty to sexual encounters with an underage female.
Deuel County District Judge Patrick M. Heng handed down the sentence.
The Deuel County Sheriff, Nebraska State Patrol, and the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office assisted in this investigation, arrest, and prosecution.
