Educational Service Unit 16 (ESU 16) will host a premiere screening of The Mind Inside Episode Two at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4 at the North Platte Community Playhouse / Fox Theater.

There is no charge to attend.

The Mind Inside, from the award-winning creators of the I Love Public Schools project, offers a look inside explores one of the most pressing and complicated issues in public education today — mental health.

In Episode Two, hear directly from students, teachers, and medical experts to understand how the complicated world of social media affects what happens in the classroom today. Explore the ever-changing social landscape – its influence on young minds and its impact on students’ mental health.

After the 30-minute screening, a question and answer session will be held with panelists Dr. Geetanjali (Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Great Plains Health); Gwen Bergstrom (Licensed Mental Health Practicioner, ESU16); Brandy Buscher (NPPS Student Services Coordinator); Sara Gentry (School Social Worker ESU16) and Stephanie McConnell (K-12 School Counselor Wallace Public Schools.)
