North Platte Regional Airport (5400 E. Lee Bird Dr.) – Fly on a Ford Tri-Motor aircraft. Adults $72 and children 17 & under $52. 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Lincoln County Historical Museum — Heritage festival. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Petting zoo, old-timey games. antique tractors, live music, food, train show, western village, demonstrations by blacksmiths, spinners, weavers.

Prairie Arts Center (416 N. Jeffers) – Celebrate western Nebraska art, see Sandhills Cowboy movie. Glass blowing and cowboy boot making demonstrations. Lauren Olsen live mural painting. Silent auction. Music by “Lloyd McCarter and the Honky Tonk Revival”. Food trucks and beer garden. Admission $5. 12-4 p.m.

Sutherland Legion Hall (160 Maple St.) – Community breakfast. Suggested donation is a minimum $6 for adults and children 6 and above. Children 5 and under eat free. Hosted by the Platte Valley Chapter of Delta Waterfowl.

Wild West Arena (2801 Charlie Evans Dr.) – Miss Rodeo Nebraska Horsemanship BBQ. A barbecue sponsored by NebraskaLand National Bank. Meet contestants for Miss Rodeo Nebraska. Performance by “Lil’ Cowgirls”, basket auction. 12:30-2:30 p.m.
