D&N Event Center (501 E Walker Rd) – KIDS Klub shows their appreciation for veterans and service members with a Canteen Pancake Feed, free-will donations. 9-11 a.m.

North Platte Area Children’s Museum (314 N. Jeffers) – Story & Craft, 10 a.m. regular admission for non-member & free for members. Also KID’s Night Out – date night for Mom and Dad. $15 or $8 for members. 6:30-9 p.m.

Espresso Shop (419 N. Dewey) — Open Mic Nite, 7-9:30 p.m. $2 donation appreciated. Food and refreshments on sale at counter.

North Platte High School Performing Arts Center (1220 W. 2nd St.) – Sandhills Symphony Orchestra presents “A Musical Salute: Veterans Day Concert.” 3 p.m. Free admission.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 13

Prairie Arts Center (416 N. Jeffers) – Democracy & the Future of Journalism: An Issue of Trust. An open forum with audience participation plus panel discussion. Featuring noted journalists: Sarah McCammon, Joe Starita, and Matthew Hansen. 5:30 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 16

Prairie Arts Center (416 N. Jeffers St) – Festival of Trees, The 10th annual, 11-4 p.m, free admission. The trees & wreaths will be available to bid on for the live auction on Saturday. 8 p.m.

D&N Event Center (501 E Walker Rd) – String Beans return for an evening concert & carnival at the D&N Event Center at 7 p.m. (One adult free per child) $20 a child for both the concert & carnival or $10 for the concert only.
