Prairie Arts Center (416 N. Jeffers) – Sheldon Statewide art exhibition, Family Time. Open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturdays. Also, art by Kimmel Harding Nelson, plus top 4-H art from county fairs in the area. Continues through Oct. 27.

North Platte Area Children’s Museum (314 N. Jeffers) – Story & Craft, 10 a.m. regular admission for non-members & free for members.

Fox Theater (301 E. Fifth) – Movie: The Jungle Book, 7 p.m. $5 adults, $3 for 12 & under.

Espresso Shop (419 N. Dewey) — Open Mic Nite, 7-9:30 p.m. $2 donation suggested.

North Platte High School (1220 W 2nd) – Bulldog backyard BBQ school fundraiser, $10 adults & $5 students. All you can eat.

Buffalo Bill Park (2921 Scouts Rest Ranch Rd.) — Cody Mansion Candlelight Tour. 7:30 p.m. Tour with costumed docents and learn about the history of Cody’s time in North Platte.

Potter’s Pasture New Camp (S. Jeffrey Rd. Brady) – NPCC Haunted Trail, 8-midnight. $6 cash. Wear walking shoes & clothing for hiking. Anyone under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Camp Maranatha (16800 E. Maranatha Road, Maxwell) – Clay Shoot, 9 a.m. Sporting Clays – $17 (50 rocks); Skeet – $6 (25 rocks); 5 Stand – $9 (25 rocks Shells – $8 a box); Lewis Class Tourney – $5 (optional). Breakfast, BBQ lunch & refreshments available. Eye & ear protection required.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (3301 Echo Dr.) – Pumpkin Fest. Food booths, raffle, silent auction, pony rides, craft booth, baked goods, games & pumpkins. 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
