River’s Edge Golf Course (1008 W 18th) – Professional Fireman’s MDA Golf Tournament. Register at 9 a.m. 4 person teams/$60 per person.

Memorial Park (1000 E. Fourth St.) — Annual Col. Cody Cruise and Shine car show. 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. No charge.

 

Sunday, Sept. 13

Sutherland Legion Hall (130 S. Maple) – Breakfast starts at 9 a.m. $6 for adults & children 6 & above. Children 5 & under eat free.

Wild West Arena (2400 N. Buffalo Bill Ave) — Mid-Plains Community College rodeo. Opens 7 p.m. Continues nightly through Sept. 19. $10 nightly. $20 all three nights.

D&N Event Center (501 E. Walker Rd.) – Gun & knife show, 9 a.m-5 p.m. $5 admission. Kids 12 & under free. Raffle and prizes. Snacks and lunch available.

D&N Event Center (501 E. Walker Rd.) – Gun & knife show continues. 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Harvest Park (1501 Dewey) – North Platte Critter Swap. 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
